We are usually asked about:

Are websites really worth it?

Yes, they are! With a website your business can interact with potentially millions of customers that you would otherwise never meet. It’s like having a worldwide store front that never closes. These days, most consumers are on the web and therefore expect to find products and services that are available to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It’s not so much a question of whether having your own site is worth it but rather whether you can afford to be without one.

It’s the quality of the information on the site that counts, not how it looks. Right?

Wrong! The look of your site is just as important as the quality of the content you post on it. First impressions count. If your site looks shabby or clunky, visitors will perceive your business that way too and click away. Let our design team improve your site with good navigation, state-of-the-art functionality and the latest styles, then watch your bounce rate plummet.

My business is small and has nothing to do with digital, what value would a website add?

Having a website adds legitimacy to your business. These days, consumers expect businesses to have a web presence. What’s more, there are many business activities that can take place more efficiently over the web, such as lead generation or direct communication with your customers. Ultimately, a website saves you time and money as well as extending your reach to a much wider audience.

What’s an intranet and how can it benefit my business?

An intranet works like the internet but is only accessible within your company. It’s a private network used by a closed community of users. Companies use intranets to streamline internal services, customer management, product and stock systems, for example. They can vastly improve productivity by allowing employees to easily and securely access information and applications anytime, anywhere.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is your web address. It’s your unique name on the web. This is our unique address, for example: www.global-reach.co.uk. We advise that if your site is a commercial enterprise, you obtain your own domain name rather than just using the one from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). It’s important for your business to have its own strong identity on the web.

Yes, we provide hosting to suit any website – from simple solutions to suit the most basic sites through to more complex solutions for complicated, high traffic, ultra-secure sites. What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. It’s how your business will stay at the top of the results page in search engines like Google. Our SEO experts use their unique skill and know-how, such as developing quality links and identifying good keywords, to keep your website high in the rankings and therefore at the forefront of your potential customers’ mind.

How is SEO different from SEM?

SEM or Search Engine Marketing encompasses all aspects of search marketing including PPC (Pay-Per-Click), SEO, affiliate programs, social media campaigns, etc.

What is Black Hat SEO? (And what's White Hat SEO?!)

Black Hat SEO uses practices that the major search engines, such as Google, have proscribed. Blog comment spam, for example. Using them risks being relegated to the bottom of the search engines’ results or even removal from the directory. White Hat SEO uses safe, best practices recommended by the search engines.

My site has been delisted / banned from Google! Can you help?

Yes. If you’ve been blacklisted from Google or any other search engine we can identify the cause and work with you to restore your site to the listings. We will then ensure that you are using only the recommended tactics going forward and then repair your relationship with the search engines.

What is digital marketing?

Digital marketing refers to marketing activity that exploits online channels. In our case, we use it as a catch-all phrase to cover all the online services we offer. These include:

  • SEO
  • PPC
  • Analytics and conversion rate optimisation
  • Content creation and marketing
  • Social media
  • Email marketing
  • Marketing automation

Why should my business use digital marketing?

These days, reaching consumers means reaching them online. It’s an increasing trend that consumers are using social media, search engines and networking sites to connect them to the products and services they want. Digital marketing puts your business in the right place at the right time – when prospective customers are actively seeking what you offer. That means your marketing activity is more likely to attract hotter leads, delivering you better ROI for your marketing spend.

Can you guarantee results?

We aim to deliver the best possible outcome for your business. We do this by working closely with you to understand your business and to develop realistic goals. Our clients will vouch for our reputation and we would be happy for you to contact them to confirm the kind of results we achieve.

What we guarantee is to never be satisfied until you are.

What will having a marketing strategy do for me?

A marketing strategy gives focus to your marketing activities, helping you to align them with your overall business strategy and set attainable goals. This better ensures you will achieve a return on your investment.

Undertaking a marketing programme without one can be a costly waste of time, effort and money.

How will using a recruiter help me?

Recruiters save you time. Rather than you having to sift through hundreds of CVs, they will filter out the best candidates and select them for interview. Since they will have an up-to-date database of people currently seeking work, they can often find good candidates very quickly. To help you find the right calibre, they can interview and test candidates before sending them on to you.

If you are recruiting temporary workers, recruiters eliminate the need for you to spend time drawing up contracts or dealing with payroll issues.
